Annunziata (Guastafierro) Colella, 78, of Perkiomenville, wife of the late Vittorino Colella, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Abington Hospital.
Born in Bosco Tre Case Napoli, Italy, on November 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Emanuela (Brancaccio) Guastafierro.
Annunziata attended St. Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church in Limerick and was devoted to Padre Pio. She was a loving mother and grandmother, loved to cook and bake breads, and would cater and feed everyone she knew and loved. She was known as “Nonna” to anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her and being around her. You would never leave her house hungry or empty handed. She would give you the shirt off her back. As all her children and grandchildren would say, if she had a dollar, she would give you two. She is truly loved by all and will be missed by many.
Surviving are her children Maria Stellato, wife of Domenick, Luigi Colella, husband of Francesca, Adriana Argento, Sabina DeLeo, wife of Joseph, and Valeria Chianello, wife of Angelo; grandchildren Antonio, Luca, Michael, Nancie, Luigi Jr., Gianfranco, Jerry, Concetta, Daniela, Giovanni, Giuliano, Vincenzo, Joseph Jr., Rita, and Gaetano; and 21 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Gianna, Sophia, Claudia, Olivia, Caius, Scarlett, Enzo, Nico, Santino, Vanessa, Logan, Landon, Vincenzo, Adriana, Jamie Jr., Aurora, Joseph, Vivianna, Leo and Lucia.
Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her siblings and son in law Vincenzo Argento and great grandchildren Lucia Mia and Matthew Vincenzo.
A private family graveside service will be held at Limerick Garden of Memories on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annunziata’s name to the Padre Pio Shrine, 11 Barto Rd, Barto, PA 19504.
