I know Chris from chaperoning a trip to Gettysburg. It was a long day and he hung out with Ella Leister and my son, James, and they let me tag along.
I also met him frequently while being a sub in the school. I will always remember him as intelligent boy and a dedicated student.
James knows Chris from various classes and clubs. He says that Chris was unbeatable at strategy games. “An amazing tactitian.”
Our prayers and thoughts are with your entire family.
Phil, Kyra, Brayden and Collin,
Words cannot express the feelings of sadness we are experiencing knowing your loss. You are amazing people of character, loyalty, respect and love. You are a family example of what others should strive to emulate in life. Unfortunately, life sometimes deals us cards that are not only hard to handle, but are downright unfair and unreasonable, with no tangible answers capable of explanation. We know who you are, who you have been and how much true love you have for your family. We are here for you. Our hearts are breaking with you. Out thoughts and prayers are with you all. Much love from all of us.
Our Family is praying for all of you. Our hearts are breaking for you in your devastating grief. May the comfort of Jesus be with you everyday of your life. May you know that you are not walking alone and that Jesus is there carrying you all through this gut wrenching storm. We will never stop lifting you up in prayer. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”– Matthew 5:4
“…my eyes are dim with grief. I call to you, Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to you.”– Psalm 88:9

Phil, Kyra, Brayden and Collin,
Our deepest sympathy to us all from your family in Indiana.
I take solace personally from our last time together about 1 month ago as you’ll came to check up on Grandpa and Aunt Judylynne. It was a very good visit that we all shared together as we sat around the kitchen island talking among all of us.
The boys played cards with Grandpa, and i taught them several new games that they were eager to learn…the smiles I got when I asked them if they wanted to learn another game is what I will remember.
Chris was a such a unique and gifted young man and one that will be greatly missed by all of us.
Rest in Peace.
Love,
Grandpa Phil, Aunt Judilynne and Uncle Kelly
