Claude W. Conrad, 90, husband of the late Dorothy (Kolb) Conrad, of Schwenksville, passed away on Thursday August 5th at The Colonnade of Schwenksville.

Born in Rahns, PA, he was the son of the late Calvin and Mamie (Bean) Conrad. Claude was a member of the Heidelberg UCC Church of Schwenksville.  He worked for Frank M. Weaver & Co. of Lansdale Fabricators of Steel for 39 years.  Claude served in WW II as a Rader Crew Chief obtaining the rank of Sergeant with the US Air Corps and then with the 5th Air Force in New Guinea and the Philippines. He was a life member of the American Legion Warren Royer Post 234 in Souderton, PA and the Patriotic Order Sons of America Camp 387 of Schwenksville.

He is survived by his daughter Claudia C. Price, wife of Jerry L. Price; sister Sara Cooper, brother Kenneth Conrad, husband of Jean; grandchildren Rachael Barkley, wife of Thomas, Jerry L. Price Jr., and Wendy Blanchard, wife of Brandon, & Chris, Megan, Cheryl and Maureen Lewis; and great grandchildren Brooke, Brentton and Bradlee Barkley, Robert and Jacob Blanchard, and Blake and Kylie White. Along with his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his daughter Cindy C. Lewis, wife of William Lewis, and sister Anne Taggart.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 12th, 10:30 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Road, Royersford with Rev. Debra Timmins officiating. Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 11th from 6:30PM to 8:00PM and on Thursday, August 12th from 9:30AM to 10:15AM at the funeral home.
