Dennis A. Nagy, 76, of Parker Ford, formerly of Pottstown, husband of Ann B. (Chalfant) Nagy, passed away on Saturday May 1, 2021 at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in Stowe, he was the son of the late Andrew F. and Dorothy M (Herrman) Nagy.
Dennis was a US Army Reserve veteran. He worked for PECO for 37 years in the underground department and retired at 55 as a job planner. Dennis enjoyed fly fishing in the mountains and would go yearly with his fishing buddies to the Slate Run retreat. Every summer brought a much anticipated family vacation to the mountains or shore. In his younger years, he liked racing and collecting cars, especially corvettes. He had a love for tractors and auctions and has a large collection of antiques. Dennis kept his yard immaculate and spent most of his time outdoors. God, family and friends have always been his main priority; including taking his wife out for dinner every Friday night. Dennis would also go every Wednesday to the Energy Station for breakfast with his friends to sit and talk about cars.
Surviving with his wife, of over 45 years, are daughters Sarah Nagy and Jennifer Nagy-Scheid; brother Robert D. Nagy, husband of Martha; sister Jane L. Nagy; and grandson Jordan Nagy-Scheid. He is predeceased by his son Jason Nagy; brother David Nagy; and sister Judith Weiss.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 10, 11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Road, Royersford with visitation from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Burial will be private and at a later date.
