Jeffrey J. Richardson, 61, of Pottstown

Jeffrey J. Richardson, 61, of Pottstown PA entered into heaven on Sept. 27, 2021. Jeff fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was on home hospice and passed with dignity at home with his loving wife Doreen at his side. Doreen was Jeff’s love of his life for the past 40 years. He was the son of the late James S. Richardson Sr. and Audrey L. Richardson.

Jeff was adventurous and a thrill seeker, bungee jumping from the New River Gorge Bridge in WV and often went to participate in the annual Bridge Day event, Skydiving, Hot Air Balloon Rides, and whatever thrills came his way. He had an interest in sports and loved watching his favorite college football team the South Carolina “Gamecocks”. Jeff loved playing golf and would often travel to Myrtle Beach for 18 holes. He was part of the Countryside Swim Team in his teenage years and was competitive in everything he did.

Jeff was always in sales but his real niche was mortgages. He had a respectable career and made tons of friends in the mortgage business. His Son followed in his foot steps and were known as the “Mortgage Fellas” powered by Movement Mortgage. He was a man of Faith and attended Trinity EC Church in Boyertown. Jeff volunteered for several programs including Special Olympics swimming, mentoring youth groups, coaching various youth sports, and was involved in the Pottstown Carousel Project.

Surviving along with his wife is daughter Renee Stoess (Joe) and grandchildren Tristan, Cadence, and Wyatt; son Ryan (Kristen) and grandson Declan. Also brothers Thomas (Gloria) Cape Coral, FL., David (Kelly) Pottstown, Rob (Olga) Phoenixville, Doug, NY and a sister Erin (Josh) Washington DC., several loving nieces and nephews. Jeff and Doreen were always hosting family get-togethers and they always put family first.

Jeff was predeceased suddenly by an older brother Jimmy on Sept. 15, 2021.

Cherish your memories of Jeff, there will be a private celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers Jeff wishes you to donate to his favorite charity :

Dear Richardson family. I am so very sorry for your loss. I've known Jeff for many years through my golf league and numerous golf outings over the years. I was blessed to play with him just this past June in my 36 hole event at Mt. Valley. I will cherish that time with him always. Jeff was always a fun guy to be around and always the best dressed. He had a pre-shot waggle that made me chuckle inside every time.

I know Jeff was a true family man, a man of deep faith, and he truly cared about the people he worked with and did business with. I can't begin to imagine how many people's lives he has impacted over the years.

Rest in peace Jeff, until we meet again my friend. Prayers and blessings to the entire Richardson family. May Jeff's memory bring you joy and happiness through the pain of your loss.

God Bless
