Wilbur G. Cooper, Jr., 82, of Binghamton, NY, formerly of Gilbertsville, husband of Ruth L. (Wentz) Peca-Cooper, and the late Bette (Brown) Cooper, passed away on Friday, October 22 at Our Lady of Lourds Memorial Hospital in Binghamton.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Wilbur G. Cooper Sr. and Murial N. (Whittich) Cooper.

Wilbur was a member of St. Andrew UMC in New Berlinville where he was active in the choir. He was also a member of the Sellersville Moose Lodge #1539, a former member of Boyertown Optimists, and a US Army veteran. He worked as a pharmacist manager at Cannings Drug in Pottstown. Prior to that he worked at Rea & Dericks in Boyertown for over 25 years.

Surviving is daughter Jodee L. Liskiewicz; son Brian R. Cooper, husband of Nicole; sister Ida Mae Wynings; and brother John Mark Cooper. Along with his parents and first wife, he is predeceased by his son in law Brian Liskiewicz; brother Roy E. Cooper; brother-in-law Dale Wynings; and sister-in-law Betty Cooper.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1:00PM at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 611 Swamp Creek Rd, Bechtelsville, with visitation from 12:30PM to the start of the service. For those attending the service, masks will be required. Interment will be private.
