Helen T. (Lagler) Ernst, 99, wife of the late Edward R. Ernst, Sr., passed away on Friday, November 12 at Manatawny Manor, Pottstown.
Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Theresia (Wagner) Lagler.
Helen was a member of ST. Elizabeth RC Church in Whitehall, PA where she was on the RCIA. She worked as a quality control inspector for Western Electric (the former AT&T and Lucent) for 20 years.
Surviving is her son Edward Ernst Jr., husband of Debbie; daughter Rosemary Peters; grandchildren Jennifer Robinson, wife of Dan, Brian Ernst, husband of Kimberlee, Dr. Michelle Peters, wife of James Shur, Matthew Wartman, and Gregory Wartman, husband of Kristy; great grandchildren Cameron, Brooks, Fisher, Emma, Charlotte, Raleigh and Kaylon; and son in law Robert Wartman. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Patricia Wartman, and sisters Marie Wister and Justine Mangles.
Services and interment are private for the family.
