Arline R. Gaugler, 93, formerly of Gilbertsville, passed away Tuesday November 16, 2021 at Keystone Villa in Douglassville.

Born in Bally, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Eva (Reigner) Gaugler.

Arline was a talented author who published three books – Benjamin Makes His Mark, Fletcher’s Triumph and Hettie’s Powers. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, and composing poetry. Arline was a career telephone operator for Conestoga Telephone Co., and later became the radio dispatcher for C.S. Garber Well Drilling in Boyertown. Arline was an avid and loyal Boyertown Legion Baseball fan. She was a kind and caring soul.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers LeRoy, Homer, and Ernest Gaugler; and three sisters Shirley Kolb, Mildred Bernhard, and Marian Bernhard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Niantic Union Cemetery, Barto.
