Barbara A. (Nicholls) Faust, 78, wife of the late Richard N. Faust, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA.
Born in Kingston, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick H. Nicholls and Kathryn (Griffith) Nicholls. A graduate of Bloomsburg University with a Master’s Degree in education, Barbara loved her career as an elementary school teacher.
Barbara was an active, longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church Niantic. She taught Sunday School and served on council and many committees. She was very involved in the music ministry as a member of the choir and bell choir, and leader of the children’s choir. Barb also served her community through her membership in the Boyertown Jaycees and could often be found selling tickets for Boyertown High School football games on Friday nights. She loved planting flowers, going to the beach, and watching Penn State and Eagles football games, but her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving is her daughter Diana Reigner, wife of Matthew, her son Jeff Faust, husband of Tiffany, her grandchildren Daniel Reigner, Nicholas Reigner, Michael Faust, and Samantha Faust, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Mildred Umla.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00AM at Christ Lutheran Church Niantic (222 Niantic Rd., Barto, PA 19504) with Pastor Matthew Finney officiating. Burial will follow at Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery. A viewing will also be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 9:30-10:45AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church Niantic Memorial Fund in Barbara’s name.
