A. Kathryn (Fleisch) Ertman, 93, of Pottstown, wife of the late Ralph L. Ertman, passed away Friday January 14, 2022 at Frederick Living.
Born in Upper Pottsgrove, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Klein) Fleisch.
Kathryn graduated from Pottstown High School in 1946. She worked at National Bank of Boyertown from 1962-1988. She also worked as a tour escort for Klein Tours. Kathryn also delivered meals on wheels from 1990-2005 and volunteered at Boyertown Senior Center Bingo.
Surviving is her daughter Lesley K. Leister wife of Kerry; son Kenneth A. Ertman husband of Elyse; grandchildren Michael T. and Matthew S. Leister, Stephanie E. Wiediger wife of Eric, and Beth E. Barnes; and great grandchildren Caris and Isaac Wiediger.
Along with her husband and parents, Kathryn was predeceased by her brothers Jacob and John Fleisch and sisters Eva Fizz and Mary Moser.
Funeral services will be held Friday January 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathryn’s memory to New Apostolic Church, 6291 Perkiomen Ave., Birdsboro, PA 19508 or to The Center at Spring Street, 200 Spring St., Boyertown, PA 19512.
