Kathleen Lisa McCormick, 88, of Pottstown, formerly of Trooper, wife of the late Leo J. McCormick, Sr., passed away Saturday February 26, 2022 at Manatawny Manor.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Ligato) Lisa.
Kathleen was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School for Girls. She was active in Delaware County politics. She worked for VNA and helped run multiple dental clinics. Kathleen enjoyed traveling with her husband. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will be dearly missed.
Surviving is her son Leo J. McCormick Jr. husband of Christine; daughters Lisa Weir wife of John and Karen McCormick-Keenan wife of Bill; grandchildren Kelly, Keaton, Alyssa, Shannan, Colleen, Connor, Skyler, Adam, Madison, Gia, Liam, and Riley; great grandchildren Gianni, Cora, Luke, John, and Josephine; and her brother Joseph Lisa husband of AnnaMarie.
Along with her husband and parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen McCormick-Carr and her brother Anthony Lisa.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday March 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473, with Fr. Paul Brandt officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen’s memory to St. Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473
