Add My Condolences

My aunt Arline was a strong, independent woman. She had an incredible memory of family history that was so valuable to all of us who were interested in learning more about our ancestors. I remember playing with my cousins at her house when I was a child and she was such a nice host. Her extended family will miss her very much. May she Rest In Peace.

Arline always welcomed me with a big smile and caring words. I remember her at Ringing Rocks Elementary School when I studied there and as a good friend of my Mom's at FBC. A great achievement to have lived 96 years, to have raised a loving family, and to have lived so independently in her eighties and nineties. I looked forward to seeing her when I would return to FBC over the years. What a blessing you have been to so many, Mrs. Gohean! I hope your transition to the next life has been a gentle one.

I loved Arline. She was a wonderful woman. I have known her many years, both through the church as well as through both of us working at Ringing Rocjs Ekementary School many years ago. I used to talk with her several times a week while at the school.
She will be missed by her friends at First Baptist Church.
