Dale L. Moyer, 83, of Boyertown, husband of Connie M. (Eddinger) Moyer, passed away peacefully Saturday May 7, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late B. Frank and Emma Rachael (Hetrick) Moyer.
Dale spent over 40 years as a tile setter for Schaeffer Floor Coverings before retiring in 2003. Dale was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and hunter. He enjoyed playing Texas Hold’em Poker and attending flea markets. Dale’s most treasured moments were spent with his grandchildren.
Surviving along with his wife are his children, Lou Ann Mickletz wife of Harry, Kate Rothenberger wife of Brad, and Daniel Moyer husband of Natasha. Seven grandchildren Samantha Moyer, partner of Brian Herring, Jake Brumbach, fiancé of Kelly Sassa, Nathan Malanios, Nicholas Rothenberger, Emma Moyer, Sarah Rothenberger, and Luke Moyer; two bonus grandchildren Casey Lownes, wife of Mike and Andrea Mickletz. Also, Dale’s sister Nancy Bower and niece Theresa Schlegel among many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Dale was predeceased by his brother Dee Moyer and sisters Doris Erb and Vivian Miller.
Funeral Services will be held Friday May 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Burial will follow at Hill Church Union Cemetery, Boyertown. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
