William “Bill” Edward Oldham, Sr., 74

William “Bill” Edward Oldham, Sr., 74, of Pottstown, husband of Dorothy L. (Turner) Oldham, passed away Sunday May 15, 2022 at the Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late William Benjamin and Elizabeth Jane (Webster) Oldham.

Bill graduated from Penn State University in 1969 with a Bschelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. His entire professional career was spent working for Unisys (previously Sperry) as an Electrical Engineer Manager.

Bill enjoyed sports cars and loved driving his Corvette. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, skiing, tennis, volleyball, and ping-pong with his work buddies and family. He also had a passion for woodworking and model trains. He also enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities.

Bill and his wife were members of Heidelberg United Church of Christ where they were members of the #1 Heidelberg dinner group. He also served as a consistory member and deacon at the church.

Surviving along with his wife are two sons Eric Oldham husband of Stacey and Keith Oldham husband of Kate; grandchildren William Edward III, Kaitlyn Elizabeth, Rylan, Tenley, Madison, and Samantha Oldham; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Bill was predeceased by his son William Edward Oldham, Jr. and his brother Jerome Spencer Oldham.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday May 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 251 Perkiomen Ave., Schwenksville, PA 19473. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the church.

I am so sorry to hear about Bill, we will miss him. We are away for a week and will not be able to attend the service.
