Sheila (Domeracki) Gerner, 85, wife of the late Joseph Gerner, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Dillon) Domeracki.
Sheila will be missed by many. Sheila was a loving mother and grandmother and great grandmother. Family was the most important thing in her life. She loved to travel with her husband Joe and spent many summers on the sandy beaches of Cape May, NJ. She held fond memories of living in Florida after retirement. Sheila loved animals especially dogs. And what lit up her face was seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren. This brought her joy.
Surviving is her daughter Susan McGinn, wife of Rick; daughter Peggy Tucker, wife of John; son James Gerner, husband of Lisa; daughter Diane Boyer, wife of John; son-in-law Walter “Hooper” Ristine; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter Kathleen Ristine and her son John Gerner.
Services will be held privately by the family at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA (1059 Sweisford Rd, Perkiomenville, PA 18074) in Sheila’s name.
