Barbara June (Bowles) Shaner, 69, of Stowe, wife of the late Earl R. Shaner Sr., passed away Friday May 20, 2022 at her residence.
Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Montgomery) Bowles.
Barbara loved birds and was always known as a “people person”. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her daughters Clara Miller, Gloria Wade, and Elinor Fronheiser; step-son Earl Shaner Jr.; grandchildren Zakkery Wade, Ithan Fronheiser, Connor Wentzel, and Kloe Wade; sisters Mary Christina Gabaya and Ruth Ann Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, Barbara was predeceased by her son Ralph Shaner and her brother Robert Bowles.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
