Donald “Donnie” A. Minner, 57, husband of Barbara A. (Craze) Minner, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, in his home.
Born in Reading, he was the son of Michael and Carol (Bechtel) Minner.
Donnie graduated from Boyertown High School in 1982. He then attended Penn State Berks for 2 years. Donnie proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. for 6 years. He later went on to graduate from Lincoln Tech. in 1991. He worked at Wagner Electric/Federal Mogul, then First Quality for 17 years. Donnie liked to ride motorcycles and spent time with his family and friends. He was known for his huge heart and always willing to do anything for anyone.
Surviving along with his wife Barbara of 22 years, is his step-daughter Heather Bohner, wife of Jeffrey; step-daughter Holly DiMarzio, wife of Thomas; and step-son Jeremy Christman, husband of Ashley; brother Michael A. Minner, husband of Michelle; sister Michele Palmer; 7 grandchildren; 5 nieces and 1 nephew; and his beloved German Shephard, Deuce. He is predeceased by his grandparents Marguerite (Boyer) and George Bechtel Sr. and his grandparents Grace (Benfield) and Wilfrid Minner.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00AM at Rustic Park Pavilion #1 (1314 Haycreed Rd, Birdsboro PA 19508). Burial will be held privately by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Penn Foundation (807 Lawn Ave, Sellersville, PA 18960) in Donnie’s name.
