Carol L. Horosky, 83

Carol L. (Francis) Horosky, 83, of Pottstown, wife of the late John M. Horosky, passed away Thursday June 16, 2022 at Chestnut Knoll.

Born in Birdsboro, she was the daughter of the late Merritt Francis and Anna (Feick) Francis Kugler.

Carol was an excellent seamstress and a phenomenal baker. She loved helping the Ladies Guild with the holiday baking at St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Pottstown. She enjoyed flowers in her yard, the Phillies, and watching her children compete in swim meets when they were young. Carol was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed attending Feick family reunions, as family was always her priority. Carol would always make family and friends feel loved by sending greeting cards. She had a passion for singing and music and was an avid Barbra Streisand and Elvis fan.

Surviving are her daughters Lori Horosky, Marcella Reber wife of Rick, and Amy Jo Horosky; granddaughters Kumiko and Cara; great grandchildren Kahlin, Lyric, and Luca; and beloved cousins Ray and Fay Feick.

Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son Steven Horosky, brother Eugene Francis, and grandsons Jason and Jared.

A graveside service will be held Thursday June 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Byzantine Church Cemetery, Pottstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s memory to Caring Hospice, 400 Commerce Dr., Fort Washington, PA 19034 or to Starting Over Animal Rescue, PO Box 286, Schnecksville, PA 18078.
