Paul S. Davis, 92

Paul S. Davis, 92 of Gilbertsville, formerly of Harleysville, husband of Mildred (Swartz) Davis, passed away Thursday June 16, 2022 at the Pottstown Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Paul W. L. and Louise (Collins) Davis.

Paul served in the US Marine Corp. and the US Air Force. He was a naturally gifted salesman, who sold many products (including insurance, Amway, kerosene heaters, and other items) over the years; however, his biggest vocational achievement was being a realtor for 50 years. Paul was also very active in church, serving in many roles over the years—elder, deacon, working with Boys Brigade, singing in the choir. He belonged to several singing groups over the years. In fact, singing was a life-long passion of Paul’s. He loved interacting with people, and people loved being around him.

Surviving along with his wife are three daughters Susan Grater wife of Rick, Nancy Bellmeyer wife of Darryl, and Barbara Shank wife of Peter; five grandchildren Seth, Stacy, Mindy, Tara, and Micah; two great grandchildren Louis and Savannah; sister Louise Davis; stepsons John Mast husband of Greta, Keith Mast, Michael Mast husband of Cynthia, and Richard Mast husband of Christine; eleven step-grandchildren Aaron, James, Ashley, Travis, Rachael, Katelyn, Rebecca, Alex, Adam, Abigail, and Andrew; and seven step-great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Paul was predeceased by his first wife Elizabeth (Hancock) Davis and his brother James Davis.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Tri County Bible Church, 142 Buchert Rd., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held that same day (Saturday August 13) from 10:00-10:45 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to Tri County Bible Church, 142 Buchert Rd., Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
