Frank N. Porter Jr., 58, of Spring City PA, loving husband of Lynne Walleigh-Porter, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at home.

Born in Ridley Park, PA, he was the son of Frank N. and Cecilia Porter.

Frank worked for GP Energy Products in Broomall, PA as a HVAC technician for 30 years. Prior to his HVAC career, he was a First Responder with Lester Volunteer Fire Company. He took pride in his work, made many friends along the way and shared countless laughs with his coworkers and all the people he met along his travels. Frank was an active member of the Reading Motorcycle Club in Oley, PA which he considered his second home. He was also a member of Reading Company Booster Club, Neversink Gun Club, Pike Township Sportsmen’s Association and Oley Fire Company. On any given evening Frank could be found in his garage tinkering on one of his many toys (well taking pictures of Lynne working). Frank enjoyed fishing, camping, playing his guitar and being with loved ones. His passions were cooking, playing pool, trains, and riding motorcycles. He was also very passionate about astronomy and providing friends with his geek report for where to look in the sky. Above all, Frank sincerely loved his wife, family, and their hundreds of friends that he considered extended family.

Frank is survived by his loving parents, sister Cheryl Diamond-Carter, wife of Bruce Carter, daughters Sammi Porter and Shawna Porter Grubb, wife of Joshua Grubb, grandsons Cameron Porter and Conner Porter.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 1:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., (329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468). Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation between 11:00AM – 1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.
