Gerald B. Weller, 85, of Gilbertsville, husband of Shirley A. (Molter) Weller and the late Martha (Lambert) Weller passed away on Thursday at his residence.
Born in Boyertown, he was the son of the late Howard and Florence (Burns) Weller.
Gerald loved boating on the Chesapeake Bay, wood working, and was an avid reader, and historian.
Surviving are daughters Lisa Baro, wife of David, of Douglassville, and Donna Little, of Gilbertsville; stepdaughters Robin Smith, wife of Dr. John S. Smith, of Hightstown, NJ, and Rene Kligerman, wife of Glenn, of Tuckerton, NJ; grandchildren Krista Fretz, Bryan Little, Caitlin and Chloe Baro, Sarah Trevino, Emily, Rebecca, and Jack Smith, and Seth Kligerman; great grandchildren Joshua and Mattie Little, and Abigail and Jackson Fretz; and his loving canine companion Britta.
Including his parents and first wife, he is predeceased by brothers Stanley, Howard, and Roland Weller; and sister Bernice Freed.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Monday, 10:30 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, with Rev. John G. Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:30-10:15 AM at the funeral home.
