Gloria S. (Stetler) Miller, 98, wife of the late John F. Miller, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Manatawny Manor.

Born in Fagleysville, she was the daughter of the late Walter M. and Beulah (Renninger) Stetler.
Gloria graduated from Pottstown High School in 1939. She worked for Bell Telephone Company as a switchboard operator and supervisor. She also worked for Stanley G. Flagg & Company as a private operator for several years while her husband served as a medic in WWII. Gloria was a lifelong member of AARP serving as secretary, was on the travel committee where she organized many casino trips, and along with her husband ran their monthly card parties. She was a member of the St. Aloysius Senior & Women’s Clubs, and was a member of the Senior Circle at Pottstown Hospital. Gloria enjoyed family get togethers and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her 2 sons – Bruce Miller, husband of Judy and Todd Miller, husband of Linda; grandchildren – Brian, Heather, Brad, Michele, Stephanie, Abby, Adam, and Erin; and great grandchildren – Jared, Cory, Evan, Caitlyn, Nicholas, Sophia, and Kennedy. Along with her husband of 65 years, she is predeceased by daughter Cynthia Plevyak; son Jeffry Miller; and sister Anita McCurdy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 15, 11:00 at St. Aloysius RC Church, 223 Beech St, Pottstown with burial to follow in New Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00AM to 10:45AM at the church.
