Harvey S. Moser, 88, husband of Emma (Johnson) Moser, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Manatawny Manor in Pottstown.
Born in Niantic, PA, he was the son of the late Cyrus and Stella (Stengel) Moser.
Harvey was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Boyertown High School Class of 1950 and the Wharton Extension School of Accounting and Finance.
Harvey was employed as a financial and accounting executive during his career and retired from F.M. Brown’s Sons, Inc. in 1992. Earlier employment included Boyertown Auto Body Works and Sunny Slope Dairies, Inc.
He was a member, past councilman, and treasurer of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boyertown. Harvey was also a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, ELA Status, member of Boyertown Lodge #741 F & A.M., Scottish Rite, Reading PA, and a member of the American Legion, Boyertown, PA. He was a past volunteer providing transportation for Boyertown Multi-Service, Topton Home Care and, Ready Ride. Harvey enjoyed golfing for many years.
Surviving along with his wife Emma of 59 years, is his daughter Deborah Bartlett, wife of David; brother Lawrence Moser, husband of Nancy; and grandchildren Joshua and Ashley Bartlett. He is predeceased by his 2 sisters Florence Latshaw and Edna Kulp; 5 brothers Jonathon Moser, Henry Moser, Norman Moser, Chester Moser, and Walter Moser; grandson Samuel Bartlett.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery (317 W. Philadelphia Ave, Boyertown, PA 19512) with Pastor Chris McKinstry officiating.
