Joan Morris (Doan) Flood, age 81, of Osteen Fla., and formerly of the Valley Forge, Pa., and Silver Springs, Md., area, died Sunday at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born in North Wales Pa, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen Grace (Morris) Doan.
Joan was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an accomplished equestrian in her younger years and had a lifelong love of animals. She was an avid golfer and also enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach.
Surviving is a son: Kurt B. Deisher, of Chester Springs Pa., and a daughter; Amy Morris Deisher of Wayne Pa., along with three grandchildren; John C. Deisher III, Kelton A. Deisher, and Nicole A. Deisher.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Monday in Swamp Church Cemetery, 390 Swamp Church Rd., Reinholds, PA.
