Joel L. “Joe” Treichler, age 58, of Gehringer Rd., Barto, died Tuesday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Zionsville Pa., he was the son of the late Stanley H. and Anna M. (Lagler) Treichler.
Joel was a member of New Goshenhoppen U.C.C.Church, East Greenville. He enjoyed being around people, and worked his own flower/produce stand at both his parents home, and his late brother “Jake’s” flea market, in Barto.
He at one time worked for Bally Case & Cooler, in Bally, for ten years.
Surviving are four brothers; Jeremiah L. husband of Lillian A. Treichler, of Macungie, Jeffrey L. husband of Bonnie L. Treichler, of Bally, Jerome L. Treichler, of Zionsville, and James L. husband of Wendy Treichler, of Barto. Also surviving is a sister; Janice L. wife of Dennis Hartman, of Bechtelsville, along with many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by three brothers; Jacob L., Jason L., and John L. Treichler.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday at New Goshenhoppen U.C.C.Church, 1070 Church Rd., East Greenville, Pa., with the Rev. Homer Royer, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM Saturday, at the church.
