John “Duke” Keller, 54, formerly of Limerick, died on January 12, 2021.
Duke was the proud father of four children; Danielle, Thomas, John, and Amelia, whom he cherished and loved dearly.
Born in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia, Duke was the youngest of 14 children of the late William and Regina (DeFoney) Keller. Dear baby brother to Bill (late Gloria), late Peggy Ann, Jeannie Doherty (Doc), late Joe (Nora), late Jim (Maripat), Maryann Grau (late Chris), Marty (Shirley), Agnes Heppler (Skitch), Leo (Christine), Dan, Theresa Iovine (Jim), Kathryn Stohr and Claire.
Also beloved by his former wives Maureen Peterson Keller and Nadine Lilly Keller. He will be sorely missed by more than 50 nephews and nieces who each hold a special Uncle Duke story in their hearts.
Duke attended Mercy Tech Vocational School and was an active member of the IBEW Local 98. Throughout the years, Duke sponsored many members of Alcoholic Anonymous.
Duke was happiest when fishing. He had a strong faith in God which never wavered. He was loved by everyone who knew him. His hilarious sense of humor and infectious laugh will be missed by all.
Funeral arrangements will be private.
In Duke’s memory, contributions for his children can be made to: Agnes Heppler, 235 Spring Hollow Rd, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
To my dear baby brother, Duke.
Throughout your life I always prayed that God would “make me a channel of your peace, where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope, where there is darkness, only light and where there’s sadness, ever joy”.
I love you Duke and will forever cherish our special bond. Rest peacefully

The Logan’s our going to miss you Duke.
We will always remember our fishing trip together
Duke was the kindest, sweetest, funniest man I ever knew. When I arrived home from my first Middle East deployment he hugged me first and hardest when I walked into his door to greet my family by surprise. He grabbed my sons and pulled them into our group embrace. I feel as though I’m a better man for having had him as a part of my extended family. His smile and laughter will always live within my heart.
Duke had a great sense of humor! When somebody at work pointed out that in one of his pictures- him holding up some fish, of course, and with his shirt off- that he was pulling in his belly for the photo op I wondered if he was going to be embarrassed or mad but instead he just laughed and so we all laughed! He always put a smile on people’s faces. He was great to be around at work and with his family. Duke will be missed! ❤️ The Gummels
Rest In Peace Duke, Sincerest condolences to the Keller family. Prayers of love and healing from many.
