Kim F. DeBlase, 60, of Pottstown, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Pottstown Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Shirley L. (Bush) DeBlase and Ronald G. DeBlase Sr.
Kim worked as the education director at Freedom Foundation of Valley Forge. She enjoyed cooking and all types of crafts. Kim always put her family first. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and was always interested in her family heritage.
Surviving with her father are her brothers Ronald G. DeBlase Jr., Michael C. DeBlase, and Brad A. DeBlase, husband of Kelly; sister Jill Y. DeBlase; nephews Mark DeBlase, husband of Christine, Jonathon DeBlase, husband of Michelle, Hunter DeBlase, and Evan DeBlase; nieces Rachel Stierly, wife of Josh, and Marlee DeBlase; great nephew Jacob Stierly, and great niece Vivien Stierly. Along with her mother she is predeceased by her fiancé Jody Oswald.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 3:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home, 711 N. Franklin Street, Pottstown, with visitstion from 2:00PM till the start of the service. Burial will be private and at a later date.
