Pauline Dean (Blocker) Brown, 84, of Pottstown, wife of the late Leon Brown, Sr., passed away Saturday April 25, 2020 at Parkhouse Nursing & Rehab Center, Royersford.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Booker Tea Blocker, Sr. and Emmie Ruth (White) Blocker.
Affectionately known as Deanie, she was an awesome seamstress, making all types of clothes, coats etc., and other crafts like knitting, crocheting, making all types of ornaments for different holidays. Also a great cook. She taught these crafts to her daughters and favorite sister in law. She was a dedicated member of The Greater Mount Vernon Baptist Church where she worked with the youth and on the Pastors committee. Deanie was a Brownie Leader for the Girl Scouts.
Deanie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a dear friend who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are three daughters Emmie Brown fiancée of Monroe Bowens, Joyce Junious wife of Kenny, and Dorathea Pendergrass; grandchildren Kristal, Leon III, Bashan, Dewayne, Karl II, Victoria, and Vincent; great grandchildren Shauna, Christopher, Dinnynce, Chezla, Leah, Jordan, Ryan, Brelan, Mackenzie, and Justin; sister Cheryl Moore; sisters-in-law Ella Mae Blocker and Doris Jenkins; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dog Tommy.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son Leon Brown Jr. and daughters Deborah Brown, Janice Brown and Wanda Solomon. Also her brothers Booker Tea Blocker Jr, Tyrone Blocker Sr., Michael Blocker Sr., Walter Blocker Sr., Reginald Blocker Sr., and her sister Harriett Enlow.
Funeral services will be private.
