Regina “Gina” C. (Sjolander) Italia, 71, wife of Carmen S. Italia, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Reading Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James J. and June D. (Friend) Sjolander.
Gina had a passion for antiques and was a staff member at 272 Antiques. She was an avid reader, enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, and playing Mahjong. Gina loved music and dancing with her husband Carmen.
Surviving along with her husband of 48 years, are her children Alicia M. Italia, wife of Jimmy Zullo of Wilsall, Montana, and Michael T. Italia, husband of Tami of Jamison, PA; brother John G. Sjolander of Baltimore, Maryland; grandchildren Gina Italia, wife of William Courchain, Nicole M. Italia, Johanna, Luke and Katie Italia; and great granddaughter Phoebe Courchain. She is predeceased by her brother James R. Sjolander.
Services will be held privately by the family at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) in Gina’s name.
