Roxanne LaRue (Ewing) Leh, 66, of Pottstown, wife of Harry D. Leh Jr., passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Reading Hospital after a battle with leukemia.
Born in Pottstown, and raised in Limerick, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Dorothy Mae (Keller) Ewing.
Roxanne had been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome and Aplastic Anemia, which recently progressed to Leukemia. After undergoing one round of chemotherapy at Fox Chase, she was due to start her second round on the day she passed. She was cared for lovingly at Pottstown Hospital. Roxanne was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church in Pottstown where she was the financial secretary and involved with the Women’s Bible Study. She also worked at the Pottstown Elks lodge as a hostess. Roxanne enjoyed bowling and in her younger years, roller skating, which is how she met Harry. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving with her husband of 47 years are children Jason R. Leh, Danielle M. (Leh) Sharpe, wife of Benjamin, and Aaron M. Leh; grandchildren Aidan and Breckin Ryan, Kayleigh Caitlyn and Leighton James; and grand dog Lincoln. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Barry L. Ewing.
A private, graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
