William J. “Bill” Schultz, husband of Nancy L. (Bauman) Schultz, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020.
Born in Boyertown, he was the son of the late James R. and Mary (Leinbach) Schultz.
Immediately after high school graduation, Bill joined the U.S. Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Arcadia. He then enrolled into Electronics School which led to a long career in the Aerospace and Defense Industries/Space Systems. Bill lived and worked around the globe and in 2001 retired to Australia and returned to Pennsylvania in 2009.
Bill loved cars- old cars, classic cars, and race cars. Touring the Formula One Race Circuit in Europe and the NASCAR races in the U.S. were his happiest days. He enjoyed motorcycling, reading, the History Channel, and anything Military. Traveling was his passion, especially to Maui; his favorite place on Earth with Nancy.
A loving and supportive husband, his family will miss his warm smile, gentle ways, and his quirky Australian-isms.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Sandra S., wife of Ralph L. Moser; nephew Duane Moser; and niece Yvonne Sanderson. He is also survived by Step-children Stefani J. Mitchell, wife of Scott, Andrew K. Markoski, husband of Carleen, and Michael J. Markoski, husband of Lorraine; four step-grandchildren Zachary and Cody Mitchell, and Ciara and Owen Markoski. Bill was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret T. (Kenyeres) Schultz.
According to his wishes, services will be held privately.
