Bill was a very respected member of several coin clubs in eastern Pennsylvania. He was very knowledgeable of numismatics and shared his passion for the hobby with all his fellow collectors. He will be sadly missed by all.
My name is Joe Furia. I am the Senior Numismatist at Coins of Chester County, located in West Chester, PA. I totally enjoyed the banter and negotiations I had with Bill in my store and or at the monthly meeting, as I also am a member of the West Chester Coin Club. The glint he would get in his eyes when he knew he had me right where he wanted me and the negotiation went his way, PRICELESS. He was a great guy to sit with at the club because he knew a lot about a lot of subjects. I will miss dealing with Bill, on a lot of different levels
. Rest in Peace my friend
My Name is Dan Havriliak.
Throughout the years I have known Bill to be a total professional.
It was only recently that we shared a table at the red rose Lancaster County coin Club show. For several hours we sat and chatted about each of our life experiences and I was amazed at how much we both had in common. Stretching from our experiences at Electric utilities. Education hobbies and politics and philly sports as well numismatic and coin collecting.
Life can be a true measure what kind of contributions you can make for the greater mankind humanity and civilization .
Bill was a real champion in that respect. People who have been blessed to have known Bill throughout the years will really be able to appreciate his contributions now.
Regards Dan
I knew Bill on one level only; coin buying selling and collecting. It only took one level to know that Bill was a genuinely good man in key levels of husband, farther, family and friends. With this in mind, over the years when we interacted I knew that I could trust Bill to be the person respected by all who came to know him. My prayers go out to his family.for strength at this time of grief.
