Daniel Jay Kadunce, 52

Daniel Jay Kadunce, 52, of Collegeville, husband of Carleen Angelia (Boardman) Kadunce, passed away Saturday October 30, 2021 at the Pottstown Hospital.

Born in New Castle, PA he was the son of the late Harry Jay Kadunce and Carol Lee (DeSalvo) Kadunce.

Dan was a football coach for Pottstown PAL, St. Pius X, and Boyertown High School. He enjoyed collecting football cards and Star Wars memorabilia. Dan was an avid Steelers, Penguins, and Alabama fan. He was proud of his Italian heritage and cherished being a mentor to friends, family and kids. Dan loved Christ and had a deep faith. He loved spending time with his family and his greatest love was being a Pop-pop.

Surviving along with his wife are three children Danni Lee Balasa wife of Jason, Stephani Joann Kenney wife of Alex, and Anthony Michael Kadunce fiancée of Alicia Smail; grandchildren Isabella, Emma, and Autumn Balasa, and Mason and Julian Kenney; sisters Anita Giampa and Julie Gilliam; mother-in-law Joan Goodell; sisters-in-law Janet Gerosky, Tina Vogt, and Deanna Spengler; brother-in-law Keith Boardman; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved canine companions Khloe and Ozzy.

A celebration of life will be held on November 11, 2021 at Tri-County Bible Church, 142 Buchert Road, Gilbertsville, Pa 19525. Doors will open at 5:00pm and food and refreshments will follow.

We would ask you to kindly wear a mask which we will have at the church doors.

Cousin Danny. I still remember the time that family came to visit us and I caught cousin Danny standing on our dog's leg,just to watch it cry.
