Lottie N. (Trout) Bortz, 92, of Boyertown, wife of the late George R. Bortz, passed away on Friday, November 12 at her home.

Born in Oley Township, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Eva (Potteiger) Trout.

Lottie was a member of Spangsville Lutheran Church and the Pikeville Rod & Gun Club and worked as a cook at the Grill Shop for over 20 years. Lottie also loved being with her grandchildren

Surviving is son Michael A. Trout, companion of Denise Angstadt; daughters Brenda Bryan, Deborah Schoenly, wife of Paul. Jr., Bonnie Moser, Sandy Williams, Thomas Bortz, and Betty Ann Renniger; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her son in law Dale Williams, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

A funeral service will be Friday, November 19, 7:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Phila. Ave. Gilbertsville with visitation from 5:00Pm to 6:45PM. A private burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lottie’s name to Boyertown Area Multi- Service, 200 West Spring Street, Boyertown, PA 19512.
