Kathleen E. Smith, 87

Kathleen E. (McAllister) Smith, 87, of Gilbertsville, wife of the late Robert Smith, sang her way to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday November 20, 2021, at 1:39 am surrounded by her loving family snuggled in her bed listening to beautiful worship music.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Hugh McAllister and Catherine (Boles) McGarvey.

Kathleen loved spending precious time with her beautiful family and she always enjoyed going to the beach in Cape May for family beach days. She enjoyed crocheting beautiful blankets and scarves, planting flowers and watching her plants grow. She wrote beautiful poems the Lord gave to her. She shared the Lord with everyone she met and she was the brightest light of Jesus Christ. Kathleen loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and every child she knew and nurtured. Her selflessness was immeasurable and her generosity to others will be dearly missed. She loved to send out birthday cards and sing to all those she loved and cherished. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and she loved singing praises to the Lord. She was an awesome Prayer Warrior and she prayed fervently for everyone. She was a faithful servant who lived selflessly and so graciously shared all that the Lord had blessed her with.

Surviving are her children Robert Smith Jr. husband of Michelle P., Kathy A. Landis wife of Dean E., Chris Smith husband of Janette G., Jennifer J. Bond wife of Chad J., Melody C. Collich wife of George E., and Kimberly E. Uba wife of Bryan M.; grandchildren Megan (Eric), Caitlin, Kelsey (Matthew), Katie (Jerry), Joshua (Beth), Caleb (Rachael), Aaron (Jenny), Samuel, Ronnie Lee, Jeanna (Jake), Monica, Charity (Mike), Sarah, Jordan, Emily, Tyler (Bridget), Nicholas, Jacob, and Zackary; 15 great grandchildren; countless children who so affectionately loved her as their MomMom and two sisters Cassie Hosier (Ed) and Betty Ann Iavecchia (Dan).

Along with her husband and parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her son Ronald H. Smith.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468. Burial will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
