Catherine Elizabeth (Stier) Golden, 79, wife of the late John Edmund Golden, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Brandywine Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine (Simonyi) Stier.
Catherine loved her job as a florist for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Mahjong, Pinochle, and going on trips with her friends from Sanatoga Ridge. Cathy loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Church. Cathy thoroughly enjoyed reading and was a member of a book club. She loved her cat, her trusted companion, Luna.
Surviving are her two daughters Jennifer Morales, wife of Joseph, and Katie Schultz, wife of Baran; grandchildren Isabel and Ella Morales.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 11:00AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Church (256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473) with Fr. Gibbons officiating. Burial will be held privately by the family. A viewing will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 9:00-11:00AM at the church.
