Earl F. Myers, Jr., 83

Earl F. Myers, Jr., 83, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home on November 29, 2021. Earl was born on March 19, 1938, in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Earl was an avid motorcycle and car enthusiast. He took great pleasure in many motorcycle rides, with his wife Betty, as well as attending car shows. Earl was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a long-time member and trustee of the First Baptist Church of Saint Peters and took pride in caring for the church's maintenance and financial tasks.

Earl was a loving husband to his wife, Betty (Freeman) Myers, a dedicated brother to his sister, Judy Black, and two brothers, Tony Myers, and Vernon Myers. Earl loved his children, Earl F. Myers, III, Pam Jones, Kelly Myers, Erica, and Daniel Steele. He very much enjoyed having his 8 grandchildren over to swim in the summer. This was time he was able to spend with them, as well as his 9 great grandchildren. He also looked forward to family picnics where he could catch up with cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Earl will be missed every day by those who knew him. He touched many lives with his quiet and caring demeanor.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Diabetes Association American Diabetes Association | Research, Education, Advocacy in his honor, as this cause was very important to him. Visitation will be held from 10:30 - 11:00 am on Saturday, December 4, 2021. At 11:00 am, a memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Saint Peters, 2860 St. Peters Road, Pottstown, PA 19465. Light refreshments following service.
