James “Jim” John Rouiller Sr., 66, husband of Susan Elisa (Graebeldinger) Rouiller, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the family home in Schwenksville.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. During this time, he received numerous awards for his work. Jim was one of the founding members of the Vortex Team in Norman, Oklahoma. His work is credited with saving a great number of lives with the creation of advanced storm warning systems.

Jim was one of the originators of the Vortex Team. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years. Jim loved weather and learning everything he could about it. He loved spending time with his family.

Surviving along with his wife Susan of 45 years, is his son James John Rouiller Jr., husband of Amanda; granddaughter Vera Lynn.

Surviving along with his wife Susan of 45 years, is his son James John Rouiller II., husband of Amanda Rouiller; granddaughter Vera Lynn Rouiller. Jim’s greatest love in this world was his family. He would do anything and give anything for his family. Truely a big piece of the family heart is missing with his passing.

Dear Family Rouiller, in the short time in Essen, Germany Jim has become a friend, so he will also remain in my memory, I wish you with God's strength to survive the difficult time of grief. He was a great work colleague who loved his country and family.
