Michaelina “Micki” (Spano) Mroz, 75

Michaelina “Micki” (Spano) Mroz, 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of late Michael and Martha (Stieff) Spano.

Micki loved spending time with her family and friends. She was kind-hearted, loving, and welcoming to everyone she knew. She loved to watch movies and play games with her grandchildren. Micki loved to spend as much time as she could outdoors gardening, swinging on her porch swing or enjoying time by the pool with her loved ones. She also enjoyed cooking, singing, and playing her word search puzzles.

Surviving along with her husband John Mroz of over 50 years, are her children John Mroz (Wendy), Benjamin Mroz (Loredana), Michaelina Mroz (Steve), and Maria DiMatteo (Tony); sisters Catherine (Ed), Felicia (John), and Lucia (Keith); brothers Michael (Doris), Al (Linda), and Pat (late Patricia); grandchildren Tiffany, Analisa, Santino, Dash, Lily, Kelsey, Isabella, and Anthony; and great grandson Mason. She is predeceased by her sister Carmella; brother Benjamin; and grandson Kyle.

Micki was a longtime member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021, at 11:00 am at St Paul’s Lutheran Church (1809 Hoffmansville Rd, Sassmansville, PA 19472) with Pastor Matthew Finney officiating. Visitation will also be held on Saturday December 11, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will be held privately by the family.
