John W. Borelly, 56, of Royersford

John W. Borelly, 56, of Royersford, PA passed away on December 22, 2021. John was a caring, funny, loving, hardworking Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle and Friend. After graduating from Conestoga High School, he started out as a Mechanic in the Army and in civilian life, transferring his passion for gears and motors to a career at Philadelphia Gear. His last role was as a member of the OTS (On-Site Technical Support) department at Philadelphia Gear. His career led him all around the world and took his family from the East coast to the West coast and then back to the ‘right’ coast again. John never met a person that didn’t become a friend.

He had a passion for anything with wheels – cars, motorcycles, trucks and going to NASCAR races. He had a list of cars he owned – all Chevys with the exception of one Ford – but that was okay because it was a convertible. He enjoyed tinkering on his cars in the driveway, showing his sons how to work on and take care of their own vehicles and going to NASCAR races. A Dale Senior fan through good times and bad. He also loved animals - Golden Retrievers were a favorite. The bigger and hairier the better. He was also an avid listener of everything Elvis and he loved his Country music too.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie, Sons Tyler (Jillian) and Jeremy (Cheyenne), Granddaughter Estelle (Tyler) and brothers Scott (Carolyn), Randy (Susan), Todd Borelly, Don Wilson (Terry), Step-Mother Carol Borelly, and several nieces and nephews.

A Remembrance Service will take place on December 30th, 6:00PM at Berwyn United Methodist Church, 140 Waterloo Ave, Berwyn, PA 19312.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society at  https://www.cancer.org/

My deepest sympathy for the family and friends of John.
Growing up as his neighbor and graduating with Scott his oldest brother, I have known John's younger years in Berwyn. It is with a sad heart to hear of his passing. My prayers to his family and extended family.
