Eva M. Smith, Pottstown, PA widow of Jay P. Smith, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage before he passed away in 2009.
Born in Ashland, PA, May 2, 1925, she was the daughter of Wade and Carrie (Lesher) Hepler.
Eva was a 1943 graduate of Butler Township High School. She was employed at all three Pottstown Hospitals in various positions for 25 years before retiring in 1989.
Eva enjoyed Rehoboth, Delaware in the summer and Florida in the winter. She enjoyed traveling in her retirement days with her husband in their RV across the country. She volunteered at the Pottstown Hospital for 19 years and over 3,000 hours.
She attended Trinity EC church in Boyertown. Was a member of the Senior church fellowship, Sermon Circle and Senior Centers of Pottstown and Boyertown.
She is survived by Son Gary, husband of Martha, Coatesville, PA, Daughter Donna Minotto, Pottstown, PA, Son Brian, Millsboro, DE, five grandchildren Greg, Jeff, Shaun, Carrie, and Lauren and ten great grandchildren Bradley, Madison, Dylan, Jaedon, Eva, Jersey, Patrick, Leo, Preston, and Cole.
Services will be held privately.
