James E. Hipple Jr., 83, of Pottstown, husband of Edna E. (Koch) Hipple, passed away Tuesday December 28, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late James E. Sr. and Dorothy B. (Leh) Hipple.
James was a member of the Pottstown German Club and Trinity U.C.C. in Pottstown. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing Bingo. James was active with the Pottstown YMCA and the Senior Circle.
Surviving along with his wife are daughters Lisa M. Hipple of Pottstown and Kristen L. Hipple of Birdsboro; son James W. Hipple husband of Eileen of Pottstown; grandchildren Amanda, Katie, and Sarah Hipple and Megan and Ian Smith.
Along with his parents, James was predeceased by his brothers Jack and Douglas Hipple.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
