Kathryn “Kitty” Strzelecki, 78
Kathryn “Kitty” Strzelecki, 78, of Norristown, passed away Wednesday February 9, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Leon Edward and Mary Rose (DiCicco) Welcer.
Throughout her lifetime, Kitty enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Holidays, special events and get togethers were times she enjoyed laughing and reminiscing, most especially with her sister. She always enjoyed music, country and the Oldies were her favorites. In younger days she loved to dance and went to local places with her daughter and friends where happy memories were made. She cherished every moment with her son, no matter what they were doing together. Kitty had a special relationship with her only granddaughter and shared fun and silly times with her.
In recent years, she became an avid and talented crafter of mosaic letters and items. Kitty enjoyed going to thrift shops to find the perfect dishes and jewelry to create her one-of-a-kind mosaics that she sold at craft shows or loved giving as gifts. She enjoyed reading, visits to the library, doing crosswords & Sudoku and mostly heading to the casinos when she could.
She had two cats that she adopted and loved very much and loved all her grand-pets. Her true most recent joys were her two great-granddaughters. She adored them and loved them very much. They brought her pure happiness. Kitty had strong faith throughout her life and loved the Lord.
Surviving is her daughter Linda Strzelecki; granddaughter Arlea Rotondi wife of Christopher; great grandchildren Giuliana and Luciana Rotondi; brother John Welcer; sister Leona Messina wife of Michael; niece Sherry; and nephew Michael.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her son Kenny Strzelecki.
