Mary F. (Timothy) Loughnane, 86, of Audubon, wife of the late Stephen R. Loughnane, passed away on Monday, February 28 at The Meadows at Shannondell.
Born in Woodside, NY, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine (Higgins) Timothy.
Mary was a faithful member of Visitation BVM Church in Norristown. She was a breast cancer survivor and proud of her Irish heritage. Mary loved to cook, especially for the holidays. While she enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, she found family gatherings to be the most enjoyable.
Surviving are sons Stephen D. Loughnane, husband of Susan, Brian K. Loughnane, husband of Elaine, and Kevin S. Loughnane, husband of Valarie; grandchildren Andrew Loughnane, husband of Sarah, Lauren Delanis, wife of Dan, Matthew Loughnane, Patrick Loughnane husband of Ashleen, Megan Loughnane, Connor Loughnane, fiancé of Lizzy Cullen, and Delany Loughnane; and great-grandchildren Shea and Ronan. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by brothers William “Billy” Timothy, Daniel Timothy, John Timothy, and sister Catherine Timothy.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 11:00 AM at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 196 North Trooper Road, Norristown with visitation from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church. Burial will be Tuesday, March 8, 11:00 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
