Doris E. (Snoke) Bauman, 87, wife of the late Herbert C. Bauman Jr., passed away peacefully at her home in Boyertown surrounded by family on Thursday, March 10, 2022.
Born in Boyertown, she was the daughter of the late Ebert and Mabel (Hahn) Snoke.
Doris was a devout Christian. She was a longtime member of Trinity EC Church. Doris worked in the cafeteria as a dishwasher in the Boyertown school district for many years and enjoyed seeing the children. In her spare time, Doris liked to read, cook, and bake. She also loved her pet birds.
Surviving are her children John Bauman, husband of Rosemarie,Larry “Whitey” Bauman, Linda Costa, wife of Samuel Costa III, and Debra Zimmers, wife of Kyle; grandchildren Christina Gehris, Tabitha Pitre - Ramos, John Bauman, Samuel Costa IV, Sara Costa, Kyle Zimmers, and Logan Zimmers; great grandchildren Carlee Rivera, John Demichael IV, and Charlotte Mearing.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 11:00AM at Trinity EC Church (250 Swinehart Rd, Boyertown, PA 19512) with Pastor Les Cool officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Amityville. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 9:30-10:45AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity EC Church or to TriCounty Hospice (13 Armand Hammer Blvd Suite 201, Pottstown, PA 19464) in Doris’ name.
