Jeff Marcus, 59

Jeffrey Michael Marcus, 59, husband of Patricia Ann (Healey) Marcus, passed away unexpectedly on

Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Born in Vineland, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles and Carol (Stern) Marcus.

Jeff was an avid Bruce Springsteen fan, traveling as far as needed to attend a concert. He was also a huge

Philadelphia sports fan, specifically of the Philadelphia Eagles. Jeff fulfilled a life-long dream of playing in

the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He was a passionate Boyertown Lady Bears’ basketball fan and

never missed a game and could watch his daughter Alli ’s winning PA State Championship game on a

loop. Jeff enjoyed golf with his son, Max and his friends and was amazed at his son Jack’s talents when

he played the guitar. The only thing that brought joy to Jeff more than sports was spending time with his

family and finding the latest Tommy Bahama print.

Surviving along with his wife Patti, of 30 years, are his children Max, Jack, and Alli; step-mother Kathy

Marcus and maternal Aunt, Lana Stern.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 6:00pm at Catagnus Funeral Home (1020 E.

Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525). A visitation will also be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, from

5:00-6:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately by the family.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, consider a donation in Jeffrey’s name to the Gilbertsville Fire and

Rescue Company 1454 E Philadelphia Avenue, PO Box 454, Gilbertsville, PA 19525.

To my brother for 47 years plus words can not describe the sorrow I have inside. We have so many memories together but just not being able to talk to anymore will be devasting. To Patty,Max,Jake and Ally I will always be here for you. Again he was my side kick growing up. He was always the life of the party. He would light up any room he entered and always had a good word to say about anybody. He taught me alot about life and how short it was. In my eyes you will never be forgotten and I love you forever as the best brother in the world. Goodbye till we meet again.

Jeff was one of my favorite people in the automobile business! I always enjoyed the time spent taking about the car business and Philadelphia sports teams. Jeff would come to Dallas to attend the annual Eagle-Cowboys game and add much excitement to the room. We would always meet up for dinner at NADA and have a great time. Jeff is one of those guys who really knew how to connect with people in a genuine way! He will be missed! My fondest condolences to the family!

Max, Jack and Alli - we are fractured, but we will heal. You three gave Dad so much to live for and look forward to. Dad and I built you to weather the storm. While this storm feels impossible at the moment, life will continue and I have no doubt dad will show you how to navigate it with your chin up. You are three of the most amazing humans I know. So, be sad, be mad, question everything and understand there may not be answers you want to hear, but don’t stay in that space. Dad and I talked about what we would want for you in a situation like this and we have armed you with some of the best family, each other and friends with are family. Lean on them and let them lean on you. I love you three with every ounce of my being and then some and I know dad would tell you he’s proud of your strength for each other. Dad will now be able to watch over you always. You already made him proud - be happy and forge ahead with his legacy.
