Carl S.Eddinger, husband of Amelia S. (Melcher) Eddinger, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.
Born in Colebrookdale Township, he was the son of the late Howard and Ella (Swavely) Eddinger.
Golf was Carl’s biggest hobby. He also enjoyed hunting. Carl was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He often enjoyed watching his grandsons play baseball. Carl liked going to his cabin in Susquehanna County. He was a member of Goodwill Fire Company, Liberty Fire Company, Friendship Hook & Ladder Company, Bally Sportsmen’s Association, Keystone Fire Company, and the Elk Mountain VFW Post 8488.
Surviving along with his wife Amelia of 63 years, is his son Ron Eddinger, husband of Cathy; son Richard A. Eddinger; daughter Audrey Paskel, wife of Scott; sister Evelyn Taylor, wife of Eugene; grandchildren Zachery Paskel and Jonathon Paskel; great grandchildren Zachery Paskel Jr. and Amelia Paskel. He is predeceased by his brother Linwood Eddinger; sister Esther Reifsnyder; and sister Kathryn Angstadt.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 11:00AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church (610 Pine St, Bally, PA 19503) with Fr. James officiating. Burial will follow at Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. A visitation will also be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, from 9:30-10:45AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Carl’s name.
