Allen C. Hobert, 89

Allen C. Hobert, 89, husband of Marguerite L. (Lorish) Hobert, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June

4, 2022, at his home in Alburtis.

Born in New Bernlinville, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Reichert) Hobert.

Allen and Marguerite owned an orchard for 63 years at Landis Store. People would come from out of

state to buy it. When they had to close the doors, people cried because they didn’t know where they

were going to buy fruit because ours was the best. He loved picking peaches, after the peach season

was finished he always kidded that he was going to go to California to pick. He always sang “Oh My

Papa, to me he was so wonderful” if the radio wasn’t on, lol. He loved doing his job, people loved him

and he always took pride in what he did!!!

Allen loved to go roller skating at Ringing Rocks Roller Rink. He also enjoyed playing for the Landis Store

Softball team. Allen learned how to fly a 9692 Juliette plane. Allen enjoyed taking his family to the beach

some Sundays by flying them to the Ocean City, NJ airport for day beach trips. Allen also belonged to the

International Flying Farmers.

Surviving along with his wife Marguerite of 66 years, is her son Dean Hobert; daughter Judy Bleiler; and

son Neal Hobert; grandchildren Franklin, Jeremy, Shanda, Shane, and Kasey. He is predeceased by his

sister Joyce Shantz.

Services will be held privately by the family at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Olivia & Alaynas Pillow Case Project (32

Baldy Hill Rd., Alburtis, PA 18011) in Allen’s name.

We are so sorry for your loss. We loved stopping at the orchard for fruit (the best around from anywhere). Allen and LaVerne would end up talking PA Dutch and having a grand time. Our prayers are with the family. He will definitely be missed by so many.

Allen you are now resting after a long, happy and busy life. Your fruits were so good since you gave them a lot of love. Finally the Lord answered your request and you will rest with Him forever. Love to your family??

We loved going to the orchard for the great fruit but even more because we loved the family so much! You are all in our prayers. Dad will surely be entertaining in Heaven! Love you all.
