Carolyn Bryce, 73

Carolyn Judith (Kerth) Bryce, 73, wife of Gerard Joseph Bryce, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of Albert and Lillian (Galvin) Kerth.

Carolyn graduated from Nursing School and was a longtime LPN. She was an avid quilter and loved to cross-stitch. Carolyn loved to go on cruises to different destinations with her husband Jerry. Bermuda was her favorite. She loved to read, she enjoyed horror movies and absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren. The Walking Dead was a favorite. Carolyn founded the Comforting Threads group at Spring Valley Village, where they would make and give quilts to the needy.

Surviving along with her husband Jerry of 53 years, is her son William Bryce, husband of Cindy; daughters Rebecca Mann and Christina Hui, wife of Kevin; sister Elizabeth Kerth; grandchildren Dylan Bryce, Abbigail Mann, and Sean Hui.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 12:00Noon at Catagnus Funeral Home (1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525) with Rev. Eugene Zaiser officiating. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 10:30-12:00Noon. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Aphasia Association (https://www.aphasia.org/) in Carolyn’s name.

I was so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. She was a great lady and I certainly enjoyed getting to know her through the years.
