Andrea M. (Born) Nielsen, 81, of Boyertown, formerly of Riverhead, NY, wife of the late Robert Nielsen, passed away Saturday June 25, 2022 at her residence.
Born in Toronto, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Edmund and Hilda Martha (Spiegelberg) Born.
Andrea was an elementary school teacher. She was an accomplished musician, painter, sewer, quilter, knitter, and singer. She was a life long fan of James Taylor.
Surviving are her daughters Karin M. Burker, Kristin A. Kenreich, Katherin R. Kenreich-Dunn, and Karolin D. Brechbill; grandchildren Jessica McMichael wife of Zack, Taylor Dunn, Lindsay Dunn, Carly Dunn, Jordan Brechbill, and Noah Brechbill.
Along with her husband and parents, Andrea was predeceased by her son Joseph E. Kenreich and brother Rev. David Born.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Andrea’s memory to Friedens Lutheran Church, 1076 Memorial Hwy., Oley, PA 19547.
